Donna Maurer
Artist's Bio:

Born in Nebraska and reared in Oregon, artist Donna Maurer first explored art while a student at Lewis & Clark College, where she majored in nursing minored in art.  After earning a bachelor's degree she accepted a nine-year challenge to further prepare and work in a bush hospital on the Sanyati Reserve in Zimbabwe, Africa.

Upon her return to the United States, Donna's interest in art inspired her to study through Clackamas Community College extension programs.  She further expanded her skills by participating in numerous workshops taught by notable artists. 

Donna has taught painting classes through the Community College systems.  Her work has been displayed and sold through Galleries, Gift Shops, and Art Shows:  Art Center West, Rose Festival Art Show, Modes of Art, Shannon Coastal Gallery, Mohler House, Carnegie Center and Revolving Art Shows through North Clackamas Art Guild.

Her art graces homes from Pennsylvania to Hawaii and from Florida to Washington and Oregon.
