Artist's Statement:

I have been involved in art since my childhood in Lahti, Finland. I have always had a strong interest in drawing and painting. In recent years, I have extensively broadened my repertoire of subjects and media. I create works that are abstract, as well as those that are traditional, utilizing watercolors, acrylics, mixed media, and collage. I have been complimented many times on my sense of color, no matter what the subject or media.

My efforts have been rewarded with a number ribbons at juried art shows and the publication of a rose painting in the book The Best Of Flower Painting by North Light Books.
